1964 Chevrolet C10 Short Bed Pickup Rotisserie Restoration

The C was Chevrolet and GMC’s full-size pickup truck from 1960 until 2000 in the United States. In 1960, Chevrolet introduced a new body style of light pickup trucks that featured a drop-center ladder frame that allowed the cab to sit lower giving it an almost car-like ride. A “C” (conventional) in front of the series number indicated a two-wheel rear drive. In 1964, the cab was modified with the elimination of the wraparound windshield and a new front grille design while retaining the original body design.

This little red beauty has a 350 cu in “crate engine”, 195 HP and 8.5 compression ratio, automatic transmission, power disc brakes, power steering, vintage air conditioning that blows cold and hand crafted oak wood bed. Additionally, it is equipped with an Edelbrock intake manifold and a Holley 4 BBL carburetor. This truck recently underwent a rotisserie restoration which was completed on a rust free Alabama truck. It is one of the finest restorations we have seen. The undercarriage is as clean as the rest of the truck. It has covered only 104 total miles since its frame off restoration, completed in 2014.

The mentioned upgrades may be questioned by some but there is no doubt they enhance this truck and its value. To the best of our knowledge, it has never been shown nationally but there is no doubt it will make the new owner very proud and a first place winner at any show.
